Instructions: Run using a real SuperPET or in the Vice emulator. You can find Vice for almost any operating system. You can download a Windows version of Vice at https://sourceforge.net/projects/vice-emu/files/releases/binaries/windows/WinVIC...

To use the emulator, place the d80 disks in the folder with xpet and launch from the command line:

xpet -sound -truedrive -superpet -cpu6809 -model SuperPET  -drive8type 8050  -8 q-prod-final.d80 -drive9type 8050  -9 sp9000lang.d80

Or just launch xpet with the superpet command line flag and populate the drives manually. Load APL by typing APL and hit return.  If that doesn't work you may need to type disk/0.apl or disk/1.apl.

Load the game workspace by typing )LOAD Q and hitting return. 

Then type G and hit return to run the game.

Gameplay: Rain bullets down on Q from the upper machinegun with the 2 key, or shoot straight out with it using 3. The gun lower down on the Chrysler building shoots straight out with the 1 key and diagonally upwards with the 4 key. Move the ground cannon with A and D and fire it with the spacebar.

You begin the game with 9 lives. Try to defeat Q before time runs out. If you succeed, you will be rewarded with the message "YOU WIN"
